Hearthside - The House That Love Built

“Other Sides: Behind the Paranormal”
Saturday, November 3rd

Nov. 2nd Appearance Added!

Sitting in a dark room, candles glowing softly around the fireplace, you begin to feel it. Like children's fingers playing lightly along the keys of a piano, you feel a bone-chilling sensation run up and down your spine. You glance at your host, the man who brought you here, and speculate what will happen next. Is it a “ghost” or simply a person from a century ago sharing the same space with you?

On Saturday evening, November 3rd, Friends of Hearthside is pleased to welcome Paul Eno, as he takes guests on a journey where they will feel all this and more as he describes his utterly unique and riveting theories about what the paranormal really is!

Paul Eno, who has been called “the most intelligent voice in paranormal research today” will be assisted by his 15-year old son, Ben, and they will take you on a tour of the supernatural in a way you’ve never seen or thought of it before. Eno believes that ghosts are not the spirits of dead people dwelling in a spiritual realm, but rather real live people, maybe even your “departed” loved ones, from parallel worlds (in the multiverse) that have impinged on our own. Others may be non-human beings, great guardians or terrible enemies. He says, “There are an infinite number of universes existing side by side and through which our consciousnesses constantly pass. In these universes, all possibilities exist. You are alive in some, long dead in others, and never existed in still others. Many of our ‘ghosts’ could indeed be visions of people going about their business in a parallel universe or another time---or both.”

With over 36 years of experience in the field, Eno has plenty of paranormal adventures to share, in words and pictures. He will speak about the drama of his own psychic self-discovery and his eventual realization of how the universe works. A part of the evening will also include something Paul rarely does; he will use his psychic abilities with the audience members and show how anyone can call on their own intuitive abilities in order to have a deeper awareness of — and even use — the many worlds around us.

Friends of Hearthside is pleased to be hosting Paul Eno for what surely will be an unforgettable evening. The event gets underway at 7:00 p.m. and a coffee and dessert reception will follow the 2-hour presentation. Eno will be available for book signing and questions during the reception.

An award-winning journalist and bestselling author, Paul Eno’s latest book is Turning Home: God, Ghosts and Human Destiny. He is also the author of six other books, four of which deal with paranormal subjects, including Faces at the Window and Footsteps in the Attic. Paul graduated from two seminaries and holds a special degree in philosophy. He frequently appears on the Discovery, Travel, and History channels, as well as on Coast to Coast A.M. with George Noory or Art Bell. A Connecticut native who came to Rhode Island in 1979 and is now living with his family in Woonsocket, Eno has long been known locally as a newspaper reporter and editor, as well as a local historian.

Limited tickets are available for this event and may be purchased by phoning Hearthside at 401-726-0597. The cost is $30 per person, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the restoration of the historic homestead. Friends of Hearthside is an all-volunteer organization that was formed to preserve, protect and promote the 1810 Hearthside Homestead and other historic sites along the Great Road.
