
Hearthside Selected to Receive Footprints in History AwardFriends of Hearthside has been selected to receive the “2010 Footprints in History Award” by the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council. The award is being presented at the Council's Annual Dinner at Twin River on Thursday evening, September 23rd . Friends of Hearthside is deeply honored to have been selected for such a prestigious award. A 5-minute video about the work that Friends of Hearthside has done will introduce the award following dinner. Other award recipients that evening include Morris Nathanson and Abe Nathanson for the Blackstone Valley Excellence in the Arts, Business and Design; John C. Gregory, President & CEO, Northern RI Chamber of Commerce and Richard Greenwood, Deputy Director, RI Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission for Induction into the William Blackstone Society. |
