Hearthside - The House That Love Built

Confederate Memorial day & Re-enactor Training To Take Place April 30-May 1

In response to how much visitors to Hearthside seem to love history and antiques, the Annual Antiques Fair was launched by the Friends of Hearthside in 2009. Now in its 3rd year, this popular event will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011. Hearthside offers a historic setting for browsing fine antiques against the backdrop of a 200-year old home along one of the country's oldest and most scenic roadways in the state. And to add to the uniqueness of this event, volunteers in period dress will stroll the grounds to greet visitors and tell of the history of the house, which will be open for touring. Handforging demonstrations will also take place next door at the antique Hannaway Blacksmith Shop.

Antique dealers are invited to reserve their space now! Rental for a single space is $50 while a double space is $85. Dealer tents and tables are set up on the picturesque grounds of Hearthside, making it a perfect summer outing. For more information or to reserve your spot, call Hearthside at 401-726-0597 or email info@hearthsidehouse.org.
