Looking for something different to give at Christmas this year? The Hearthside Gift Shop offers an array of unique gifts! This holiday season we are featuring some special Hearthside items.

The Hearthside Keepsake Ornament, custom designed by Lincoln’s ChemArt Company, makes the ideal gift as a memorable collectible or to mark a special occasion such as a wedding, anniversary, a new baby, a milestone birthday, graduation, a welcome gift to a new resident in town, or a Christmas gift to friends or relatives who have moved away.

The Christmas at Historic Houses book is filled with beautiful photographs of historic homes, with Hearthside being one of the 30 houses in the country to be selected for inclusion in this coffee table book. A whole chapter is devoted to Hearthside, complete with the Mowbray family’s Christmas memories during their 40 years they called Hearthside their home.

Delicious Christmas Decorations at Historic Houses, just released by Schiffer Publishing Company, is a companion book to Christmas at Historic Houses, focusing on how to achieve the beautiful decorations featured at so many of the historic homes in the first book. Hearthside’s elegant gilded dining room table arrangement and mantel appears throughout the book and is featured on both the inside front and back covers.

The holiday cards include both interior and exterior images of Hearthside that were used in the Christmas at Historic Houses book. These professional photos are printed on archival card stock, suitable for framing. In addition to the photo cards, there are cards that were reproduced from paintings of Hearthside and Great Road done by Andrew Mowbray many years ago and used as Christmas cards by the family.

Hearthside trivet tiles and plates are also available for sale, among a variety of other seasonal items, books, tea accessories and unique gifts.

Proceeds from all gift shop sales benefit the Friends of Hearthside’s Capital Improvement Fund, providing the necessary funds for its continued restoration so that this precious historic gem will be around for future generations to enjoy.
