This is Hearthside as shown in a postcard from the turn of the century.
Other than the missing balustrade over the portico roof, little has changed from the original appearance of Hearthside as shown in this recent photo.
At the front entrance, the six-paneled door is crowned by an elliptical fanlight.
This photo shows the front parlor. Blindfold shutters fold into window reveals in each of the rooms. Italian marble adorns the fireplace.
Upon entering the foyer, you are greeted by a graceful "flying" staircase, supported by a central column. The handrail is built into the wall.
Looking down from atop the staircase shows off the grandeur of its design.
