Lincoln resident Carmela DelGrande with her paints and stencils
ready to demonstrate the art of stenciling for both young and old.
One of the bedrooms at Hearthside will be stenciled by Carmela this
year. |
| Chris Carr Sayles demonstrates the fine work of rug hooking, similar
to that done on the stair treads in the front staircase at Hearthside.
She has volunteered to finish off the stairs that had never been completed
by the former owner, Mrs. Mowbray.

Shop were treated to banjo music and the ring of anvils. |
 Andy Paquette, resident weaver at Hearthside, works on a piece he
designed on the 1800’s loom, which was donated to Hearthside
last year. |
As part of the family day, horse drawn hayrides were popular in
the hills of Chase Farm. A country western concert also took place,
both of which were sponsored by the Town of Lincoln. |
Friends of Hearthside volunteers sell their homemade apple pies, breads,
cookies and cider in the bake shop. Pictured are Linda Lundgren, Barbara
