Four-poster, canopy bed

The most notable feature of the master bedroom is this beautifully carved four-poster, canopy bed donated by the Mowbray family.

This is the kitchen fireplace with built-in bread oven.  The addition of the kitchen was built in the mid-1800's.

Vintage clothing

Vintage clothing donated to Hearthside is on display in one of the bedrooms.

The Chickering piano in the front room was donated by the Mowbray family.  The square piano is quite rare since most of these pianos were destroyed because of the belief that it was poorly designed.

Desk on loan to Hearthside from the Hadley family

This desk, on display in one of the bedrooms, is on loan to Hearthside from the Hadley family of Lincoln.

This is one of two sleigh beds remaining in the house.  A hand-crocheted bedspread, which was donated to Hearthside, is displayed on the bed.
