Tours Through its engaging tours, history is brought to life for visitors as they journey through three floors of Hearthside and learn about its history and that of the families who lived there from our costumed guides, trained in the interpretation of the house.
Programs & Events Hearthside is the site of many creative programs throughout the year, all of which are focused on various historical themes that cover a wide span of eras. Some events are held each year, while others may only be done every few years. Check the Annual Schedule.
Hannaway Blacksmith Shop Located at the gateway to Chase Farm Park, next door to Hearthside, sits the historic Hannaway Blacksmith Shop where the traditions of turn-of-the-century blacksmithing may be experienced every weekend.
Other Great Road Sites Friends of Hearthside also hosts programs at the neighboring sites of the Hannaway Blacksmith Shop, Moffett Mill, and Chase Farm Park, offering even more opportunities to be immersed in another time, place and set of circumstances.
School & Group Tours Group tours and school groups are welcomed to experience history at Hearthside and explore what life was like during the 18th and 19th centuries in our community.
